If you have seen my previous blog post on The Kitchen Pantry Scientist series, you’ll not be surprised to hear I’m very excited for the newest addition to the series: Ecology With Kids.
I’m very excited about the ecology topic and think children will love this one.
The scientists featured are some of my very favorites: Wangari Maathai, Rachel Carson, Robin Wall Kimmerer, George Washington Carver, and so many others. I especially love the Robin Wall Kimmerer biography, paired with a moss observation experiment, as her book Gathering Moss: A Natural and Cultural History of Mosses is a personal favorite of mine.
You can read more about why I love this entire series on my previous blog post and view an inside look of some of the books as well.
Note that Math for Kids is another in the series I didn’t cover in that previous post, and it is also excellent!

***Note: I was given review copies of these books via Quarto Kids. Opinions are my own.
